American Barnstormers
Tour 2006

Page 1 - Page 2

On July 15th and 16th, 2006, the American Barnstormers Tour 2006 started in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

It was fun going to see all the old biplanes, and talking with the pilots and other people involved in the Barnstormers Tour.

I enjoyed taking pictures of some of the planes while on the ground, but I just had to get some pictures of one of these old planes while in the air.
So, my neighbor and I each paid for a ride in a plane and both planes went up at the same time. The feeling of being in the open cockpit while flying around, and trying to get pictures was just great. Anyone who's thinking of going for a ride, you won't be disappointed.

I'd like to thank all the barnstormers for their friendliness and willingness to talk to us, and others, about the planes. I'd especially like to thank Gary "Pops" Lust and Clay "Pork Chop" Adams for taking us up in the air and flying such that we could get some great pictures up in the air.
